Thoughts on: Nindies Summer Showcase 2017

With the summer season coming to a close, Nintendo has decided to unveil the next round of independent games coming to the Switch and 3DS, this time focusing on titles to be released before the end of 2017 and in early 2018.

It wasn’t a terribly long stream, but it was jam packed with some stuff to talk about. I wanted to go through each of the announcements pretty briefly. I know I tend to get long winded, but hopefully I won’t this time. I had planned to release a “Thoughts on” for the Senran Kagura Oppai Day stream, but I wrote way too much and didn’t finish the article, plus now it’s kind of old news, so publishing the article wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense. Anyways, gotta write fast!

Thoughts On: Splatoon 2

Well, first and foremost, it’s been awhile since I’ve written and posted a blog-post or review here. My thoughts on the Jan. 17th Fire Emblem Direct

New games! Yay! Or maybe not? Buzzwords.

I haven’t written a blog post in a long time and I’ve mainly just been dumping opinions onto twitter like an orange buffoon. But I feel just so… conflicted about the stuff that was announced that I felt like legitimately writing about it instead of just messaging my friends or talking shit in comments sections.

First Impressions: Metroid Prime Federation Force

Federation Force is a game that people either love or hate. When it was announced I really didn’t feel much since I am not a huge Metroid fan, but there was a lot of negative backlash towards the game. Mostly because it didn’t feature Samus, and because it has a very different art style compared to the previous titles in the Metroid Prime series. But after playing a few single player missions solo and some Blast Ball (the bundled in Rocket League-esque mini-game), I will say that it’s alright.
